This incident was captured on my body worn video camera.This report is a summary of events that
occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events. Statements have been paraphrased and
summarized.
On 06-07-20251 was working as a police officer in a fully marked, department issued uniform, patrolling
in a marked police vehicle for the city of Renton.At approximately 0749 hours I was dispatched to a
hit/run report by phone that occurred at 1008 Sunset Blvd NE#A, City of Renton, County of King,State of
Washington.
I gathered from the call notes,the reporting party(Neida G. Hernandez DOB 12-12-1998) reported
overnight someone hit her parked vehicle and fled. Neida had possible suspect information to offer via
video surveillance.
I contacted Neida by phone, and she advised the following: Neida parked her vehicle in the driveway of
her townhome at approximately 0000 hours today. Neida's vehicle did not have any damage at the time
the vehicle was parked, and she observed that there was left rear end damage to her vehicle around 0730
hours. Neida said that there was an indent in the rear left bumper of her vehicle, and there was several
black scratch marks in the same area.
Neida said that she had video surveillance that caught the incident, and she observed the following:At
approximately 0306 hours, Neida observed a gray/silver SUV drive northbound on Sunset Blvd NE. She
observed the vehicle pull off the road towards her driveway, and the entire front of the vehicle collided
with the rear of Neida's Mazda.The vehicle then exited Neida's driveway and continued northbound on
Sunset Blvd NE.
Neida advised that she wanted to be a victim and press charges.
If a suspect is identified I have probable cause to believe that the driver of the unknown gray/silver SUV
committed the crime of Hit and Run Unattended (RCW 46.52.010.1), by colliding with Neida's vehicle
and failed to produce their name, registration information,vehicle insurance, and contact information to
Neida.
I sent Neida an Axon community link to upload photos of her vehicle and video surveillance that captured
the incident to evidence.com.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.

1 observed the photos Neida uploaded to evidence.com, and saw the rear right bumper had a small
indent with multiple black scratch marks in the same area. I did not see any damage to the rear left
bumper of her vehicle.
1 watched the video surveillance and observed the following: I observed a gray/silver SUV drove at slow
speeds northbound on Sunset Blvd NE, and approached Neida's residence.The vehicle continued
towards the driveway of Neida's residecen and collided with the rear right bumper of Neida's vehicle.The
vehicle continued to accelerate even after having collided with Neida's vehicle.The gray/silver SUV
reversed their vehicle away from Neida's vehicle and fled the scene of the collision northbound on
Sunset Blvd NE without stopping.
From the video surveillance that Neida uploaded, I was unable to clearly identify the suspect vehicle or
suspect vehicle license plate.
This concludes my involvement in this case.
