This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
Statements have been paraphrased and summarized
On 06/09/2025 at approximately 1610 hours, myself, Officer R.Watson,was dispatched to a hit
and run collision, at the intersection of S 2nd ST and Rainier AVE S, in the City of Renton, King
County,Washington.
Dispatch noted stated that two vehicles were involved in a collision, no injuries, nonblocking,
and one of the party's drove away southbound on Rainier AVE S.
As I was enroute to the scene, the reporting party, Le Chante L. Raiwalui (DOB 02/12/1996),
self-identified over the phone, requested contact by phone. I called Le Chante and she stated
that she was traveling westbound on S 2nd ST, in her 2021 Audi A6 WA plate#CPN6535,when
she came to a stop at the intersection of Rainier AVE S as she was waiting to turn southbound.
As she was stopped waiting for the light the second vehicle, a 2024 Kia EV6 WA plate#
A7875331, struck her vehicle from rear. She estimated the speed of the Kia to be less than 5
mph when it struck her vehicle.
After the collision, both vehicles pulled into Big Island Poke across from the intersection. Le
Chante said her and the other driver exited their vehicles and said they were going to exchange
insurance information.When they went to get their insurance information, the driver of the KIA
got in his vehicle and drove away southbound on Rainier AVE S. Le Chante described the male
as a light skinned black male, 5' 8", dreadlocks,wearing a white muscle shirt. She also said that
she 100 percent would be able to identify the male driver should she see him again.
Le Chante said that the damages to her vehicle were minor scratches in the middle of her rear
bumper which she estimated to be around $500 to fix. She also said that when the collision took
place, she had no injuries.
If a suspect is found there is probable cause for damage to an attended vehicle (hit and run) due
to the suspect not providing the required information after the collision occurred. Le Chante was
