On 6/12/2025 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for
the City of Renton. I was dispatched to a report of a hit and run collision which had occurred on
6/6/2025 at 111 Airport Way Renton/King/WA around 2200 hours.
Paola Diaz DOB: 10/12/1993 at the Police Station to report that her vehicle had been struck in
the parking lot. I met with Paola who showed me her white 2018 Chevrolet Cruz TX/RRG7455.
The Cruz had extensive damage to the front bumper and hood. She said that the vehicle was
parked in the parking lot of the restaurant and was backed into by another customer as he was
Leaving.
Paola said that her vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the collision.
Paola said that the restaurant had provided her with surveillance footage and a receipt of the
subject who had backed into her vehicle.
I sent Paola an Axon Link, and she uploaded the footage.The surveillance footage showed what
appeared to be a large truck, possibly a Chevrolet, back out of a parking spot and strike the Cruz
with its rear bumper.The footage ends before the truck leaves the scene,the damage to the
suspect vehicle would be on the rear bumper. No plate is visible on the suspect vehicle.
The receipt that was provided to Paola had a signature which showed the name on the card of
the male who picked the food up as "Miguel Angel Taizan"with no date of birth.
The surveillance footage from inside the restaurant shows a Hispanic male 20-40 years old,
black hair,wearing a blue shirt and blue pants.
An in-house records check does not show any results for the name provided.
