DLState DLExp Address Primary Phone&Type AdditionalContact Number&Type Additional Contact Number&Type Race Sex DOB- Height Weight Even Hair Collision 2025-00005381 Paqe 2 OF 6 Case Number 2025-00005381 Officer Narrative Narrative ASSIGNMENT/ARRIVAL On 06/20/2025 at approximately 1227 hours, I was dispatched to a two-vehicle collision in the 2800 block of NE Sunset Boulevard in the city of Renton, King County,Washington. I arrived at approximately 1237 hours. UNIT 1: LEXUS CT Upon arrival I observed a red Lexus CT(WA/CNG9160, Unit 1) parked in the parking lot of a nearby apartment complex in the 2800 block of NE Sunset Boulevard. Unit 1 had been moved from its point of rest prior to my arrival. Unit 1 had non-disabling collision damage to the rear-passenger bumper, rear passenger door, and trailing edge of the rear passenger door. UNIT 2:CHEVROLET SUBURBAN I observed a gray Chevrolet Suburban (WA/CLF5193, Unit 2) parked near Unit 1 in the same parking lot. Unit 2 had been moved from its point of rest prior to my arrival. Unit 2 had non-disabling collision damage to the front-driver bumper. DRIVER 1:SIRAT, BIBI F. I contacted Bibi F. Sirat(DOB: 03/20/2004)standing near Unit 1. 1 identified Sirat by her valid Washington Driver License and established her as the driver of Unit 1 by her admission. Sirat was not injured from the collision. DRIVER 2:JACKSON, BRIANNON R. I contacted Briannon R.Jackson (DOB: 11/03/1991)standing near Unit 1. 1 identified Jackson by her valid Washington Driver License and established her as the driver of Unit 2 by her admission.Jackson was not injured from the collision. I spoke with Jackson about the collision.The following is a summary of our conversation: Jackson drove Unit 2 west in the 2800 block of NE Sunset Boulevard in the number one (closest to curb) Lane.Traffic was stopped in the number two lane, but the number one lane was clear. Unit 1 suddenly turned left(west) in front of Unit 2.Jackson didn't see Unit 1 prior to the collision, but believed Unit 1 traveled east in the eastbound lanes prior to the collision. Jackson had no time to avoid a collision and Unit 2's front-driver bumper collided with Unit 1's passenger side. This concluded my conversation with Jackson. STATEMENT:SIRAT, BIBI F. I spoke with Sirat via a Dari Language Line interpreter about the collision.The following is a summary of our conversation: Sirat drove Unit 1 east on NE Sunset Boulevard and turned left(west) across the westbound lanes to enter a private driveway on the north side of NE Sunset Boulevard. Unit 2,which traveled westbound, struck Unit 1 in the westbound lanes as it turned. This concluded my conversation with Sirat. WITNESS STATEMENT: BLACKLEY KARMALITA L. I was approached by an independent witness, Karmalita L. Unit 1 was stopped facing eastbound in the center-turn lane.Westbound traffic in the number two lane stopped to let Unit 1 turn, but the number one lane had not stopped and traffic still flowed. Unit 1 slowly turned left(west) and, as it was in the westbound lane,was struck by Unit 2,which traveled west in the westbound number one lane of NE Sunset Boulevard. This concluded my conversation with Blackley. PROXIMATE CAUSE The proximate cause of the collision was determined by statements from both drivers and the witness, as well as the damage observed to both vehicles. Sirat's actions caused the collision, namely her violation of RCW 46.61.185(1),which states: The driver of a vehicle intending to turn to the left within an intersection or into an alley, private road, or driveway shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle approaching from the opposite direction which is within the intersection or so close thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard. CITATION I authored Sirat a citation (Citation#5A0187411)for her violation of RCW 46.61.185(1) and filed it with the Renton Municipal Court. DISPOSITION I photographed both vehicles.All parties exchanged information.
