3.FOR TEMPORARY SLOPE STABILIZATION, INSPECTION OF EXCAVATION CUT FACE SHALL BE
COMPLETED BY OWNER OR OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE AHEAD OF INSTALLING PROPOSED
IMPROVEMENTS.
4.PLAN FOR AND PROVIDE PROVISIONS FOR DEWATERING POTENTIAL PERCHED GROUNDWATER AND
FOR DRAINAGE CREATED BY CONSTRUCTION GRADING.
5.ERODIBLE EARTH NOT BEING WORKED, WHETHER AT FINAL GRADE OR NOT, SHALL BE STABILIZED
WITHIN 48 HOURS DURING THE WET SEASON (OCT 1 THRU APRIL 30) AND WITHIN 7 DAYS DURING
THE DRY SEASON USING PLASTIC COVERING, EROSION CONTROL MATTING, OR ANOTHER
APPROVED COVERING METHOD. PROTECT AND ROUTE WATER AROUND ALL CUT FACES.
6.IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE SLOPE AND SITE HAVE BEEN EXCAVATED, THE REMAINING WORK FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE RETAINING WALL SHALL BE CONTINUOUS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
COMPLETE THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE RETAINING WALL BEFORE WORKING ON OTHER
IMPROVEMENTS AND COMPLETING WORK AT ANOTHER SITE.
7.TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT STOCKPILES. IMPORTED FILL, AND SUBGRADES
FROM RAIN AND MOISTURE INTRUSION INCLUDING MEASURES TO PREVENT WICKING UP OF
MOISTURE IN STOCKPILE.
8.THE CONTRACTOR WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY ADDITIONAL MONIES OR WORKING DAYS DUE TO
EROSION, FAILED SLOPES, OR FAILED COMPACTION TESTS AS A RESULT OF INADEQUATELY
PROTECTING THE SITE FROM RAIN, STORM WATER, GROUNDWATER, AND EROSION SOURCES.

1. COORDINATE TELEMETRY PANEL REMOVAL AND NECESSARY SHUTDOWN PERIOD WITH OWNER BEFOREHAND; 5
WORKING DAYS NOTICE REQUIRED. SHUTDOWN DURATION SHALL NOT EXCEED 5 CALENDAR DAYS.
2. CONTRACTOR SHALL DISCONNECT ALL EXISTING CONDUCTORS AND CONDUITS FROM THE EXISTING TELEMETRY
PANEL (RTU) AND REMOVE THE EXISTING RTU FROM ITS LOCATION TO MAKE SPACE FOR INSTALLATION OF THE
PROPOSED RTU. EACH EXISTING CONDUCTOR SHALL BE LABELED PRIOR TO DISCONNECTING FROM THE RTU TO AID IN
THE INSTALLATION OF THE PROPOSED RTU.
3. OWNER SHALL BE PROVIDED OPPORTUNITY TO REMOVE AND RETAIN ANY EQUIPMENT FROM EXISTING TELEMETRY
PANEL. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DISPOSING OF ALL EQUIPMENT NOT RETAINED BY OWNER.
4. CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW TELEMETRY PANEL DRAWINGS AND LAND EXISTING AND PROPOSED CONDUCTORS IN
TELEMETRY PANEL.
5. INSTALL PROPOSED RTU IN THE SAME LOCATION AS THE EXISTING RTU AND EXTEND ALL EXISTING CONDUITS TO
THE PROPOSED RTU. CONTRACTOR SHALL MODIFY EXISTING CONDUIT AND INSTALL NEW CONDUIT AS NECESSARY TO
REROUTE CONDUIT INTO THE PROPOSED TELEMETRY PANEL BASED ON THE PANEL SIZING.

3. OWNER SHALL BE PROVIDED OPPORTUNITY TO REMOVE AND RETAIN ANY EQUIPMENT FROM EXISTING TELEMETRY
PANEL. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DISPOSING OF ALL EQUIPMENT NOT RETAINED BY OWNER.
4. CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW TELEMETRY PANEL DRAWINGS AND LAND EXISTING AND PROPOSED CONDUCTORS IN
TELEMETRY PANEL.
5. INSTALL PROPOSED RTU IN THE SAME LOCATION AS THE EXISTING RTU AND EXTEND ALL EXISTING CONDUITS TO
THE PROPOSED RTU. CONTRACTOR SHALL MODIFY EXISTING CONDUIT AND INSTALL NEW CONDUIT AS NECESSARY TO
REROUTE CONDUIT INTO THE PROPOSED TELEMETRY PANEL BASED ON THE PANEL SIZING.
