Officer Narrative
Narrative
On 06/30/2025, at approximately 0436 hours, I was dispatched to a hit and run report at 200
block of RAINIER AVE N, located in the City of Renton,while employed as a uniformed Patrol
Officer for the City of Renton, County of King, State of Washington. The reporting party advised 5
minutes ago that he was involved in a hit-and-run incident.
I spoke with the reporting party, identified by his WADOL photo as DONCKERS,JOSHUA LOUIS
(09/20/1984).Joshua's vehicle was described as a silver 2021 Toyota Tacoma bearing WA plate
C22867X, registered to him.
Josh stated this morning that, at approximately 0433 hours, he was on Rainier Ave N in Lane#1
(the only lane)traveling northbound. He was passing the Arco gas station (251 Rainier Ave N)
when he noticed a gray Toyota Prius attempting to make a left turn onto Rainer Ave N. He said he
didn't believe the Prius would turn in front of him, but as he continued driving, the vehicle did so,
causing him to hit the Prius on the front right passenger side of the fender. Josh said he does not
know if there is any damage to the suspect's vehicle. Josh then claimed the Prius was pulling
over, but then took off at a high rate of speed, going northbound.Josh followed the car into
Seattle but later lost sight of it.
It should be noted that the suspect vehicle passed through four lanes that were traveling
southbound and then crossed a solid double line to enter Josh's lane.
Josh's vehicle does have scrapes on the fender of his driver's side. He estimated the damage to
cost$1000 to repair.
The suspect's vehicle or the suspect has not been identified. I'm in contact with Arco
management and will review video surveillance footage at a later time, if the video manager
shows up to work. I will complete a supplement report if 1 retrieve footage.
This report will only be for insurance purposes.
