ADDENDUM NO. 1-18 TO LAG-12-001
Between City of Renton and Rain City Catering
THIS ADDENDUM No. 1 to Lease Agreement LAG-12-001 (ADDENDUM No. 1) is effective
January 1, 2018 (Effective Date) by and between the City of Renton (City or Lessor), a Washington
municipal corporation, and Rain City Catering (Lessee). The City and Lessee are referred to
collectively in this Agreement as the "Parties."
WHEREAS, by this Addendum, the Parties mutually agree to amend the original and existing
Agreement LAG-12-001 (Agreement) entitled Renton Pavilion Event Center Lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual terms and covenants in this Addendum and
other good and valuable consideration, the Parties agree to the following:
SECTION 1. Section 1.6 is amended to read as follows:
Section 1.6 Lease Term:
1.6.1. The term of this Lease shall six (6) years, beginning on January 1, 2012 (the
Commencement Date), and ending on December 31, 2019,
1.6.2 Renewal and Termination.
1.6.2.1 Unless either party provides written notice by September 30th of
the year the lease is to expire -The lease will automatically renew for two
(2) one (1) year periods:
January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 and
January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021
1.6.2.2 Lessee may, in its sole discretion and without any recourse by or
compensation to Lessor, terminate the Lease with six (6) months' written
notice to Lessor.
1.6.2.3 Lessor may, in its sole discretion and without any recourse by or
compensation to Lessee, terminate the Lease with six (6) months' written
notice to Lessee.
1.6.3 Lessee may reserve or rent space at the Pavilion to users during the lease
period.
SECTION 2. All terms and conditions of the Agreement not amended by this Addendum 1-18
shall remain in full force and effect and are ratified and re- confirmed. To the extent any term(s)
and/ or conditions) of the Agreement conflicts with any term(s) and/ or condition(s) of this
Addendum, the term(s) and/or condition(s) of this addendum shall control.
