The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 7/1/2025 at 1750 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision that occurred at 908 S 34th PI
between 06/30/2025 at around 1300 hours and 07/01/2025 at around 0747 hours.
I called the victim, identified as Hong U. Nguyen (DOB: 07/29/1993), and asked what happened.
Nguyen stated that she parked her vehicle in front of her boyfriends residence, which is the call
location, at around 1300 the day prior. Nguyen stated that she returned to her vehicle at around the
time she called 911 at 0747 hours on 07/01/2025 and saw that there was damage to the rear drivers
side of her 2023 Toyota Camry (WA LP: CFV6470).
Nguyen stated that she did not see the collision and that there were no cameras available to provide
any further evidence.
Nguyen would not be able to identify a suspect in this case or a suspect vehicle in this case.
