On 7/2/2025 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for
the City of Renton. I was dispatched to a report of a hit and run collision in the parking lot of
Valley Medical Center located at 400 S 43rd St Renton/King/WA. Reena Toor 1/18/1977 was
calling to report that someone had hit her parked silver 2017 Mercedes GLS WA/CGH1179.
1 arrived on scene and located Reena in the parking lot, her Mercedes was backed into a parking
spot in the "B" lot.There was a black 2005 Nissan Quest WA/AIN7848 parked, nose-in, in the
spot next to the Mercedes.The Quest was parked at an angle and the passenger side front wheel
well was resting against the passenger side rear wheel well of the Mercedes. There were also
minor scrapes to the passenger side front bumper of the Mercedes and matching scrapes to the
front passenger side front bumper of the Quest.
Reena said that she had parked her vehicle in the parking lot and gone inside for an
appointment. She said that the spot was empty when she parked and the came out to find the
Quest against her vehicle. Reena did not see anybody driving the Quest.
The Quest is registered to a Laurie A Rostad DOB: 10/8/1953 at 12002 66th Ave S Seattle WA.
VMC Security was with Reena and made an overhead announcement inside the hospital. I
waited on scene for an extended period, and nobody came out to the vehicle.
I took photographs of both vehicle and uploaded them to Axon Evidence.
I left a card on the vehicle with the RPD Non-Emergency Line number and case number.
I advised Reena I would call her with any updates.
On 7/3/2025 at 0730 hours I went back to VMC to see if Laurie's vehicle was still in the parking
Lot,the vehicle was gone.
I checked LInX(Law Enforcement Information Exchange)to see if I could locate a phone number
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.

for Laurie.There was no phone number listed for Laurie, but her address showed as her DOL
address.
I completed an RPD Nit and Run Notification Letter and mailed it to Laurie at her DOL address. I
will update this case if new information arises.
Nothing further.
