On 7/3/2025 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for
the City of Renton. I was dispatched to a report of a hit and run which had occurred prior at the
Clarion Hotel located at 3700 East Valley Rd Renton/King/WA. Ruthairat "Ruth" N Man DOB:
12/10/1984 was calling to report that someone had struck her black 2010 Mercedes E-Class
WA/BIG4706 while it was parked in the parking lot.
Ruth said that she parked her vehicle on the east side of the hotel around 1015 hours on
7/3/2025. She said that around 1130 her coworker came in and told her that someone had
struck her car and left the scene. Ruth said her friend could only tell her it was a tan van but
could not tell her any driver information or plate number.
There was damage to the driver side front wheel well of the Mercedes. Ruth said it was
unoccupied at the time of the collision.
I went and spoke with the management of Clarion who advised they did have cameras that
covered that side of the parking lot, but the camera did not record so there was no footage.
Currently there is no suspect vehicle or driver information.
Nothing further.
