NARRATIVE
I was leaving work not in rush cause my house is nearby. I was going to do what I also did which is safely merge into the
turning lane that allows you to turn into which ever plaza you want to enter, then merge into the middle (going straight lane). I
looked both ways and noticed the semi truck was really far away and had no turning signals on so I went to safely merge. As I
was in the turning lane all of a sudden the semi truck was coming up next to me merging already going super fast and then
side swept my car causing damage to the front right. I was in shock and the semi truck did not stop nor did it slow down. It
was a hit and run. I safely made my way to assess the damage at a near by car parking lot and called my parents/insurance
company. I also have dash camera footage if needed that I can send. I was unable to make out the company name of the
semi truck in the video and the license plate due to the semi truck driving really fast.
