Narrative
ASSIGNMENT/ARRIVAL
On 07/08/2025 at approximately 1247 hours, I was dispatched to a single-vehicle collision in the 300
block of Hardie Avenue SW in the city of Renton, King County,Washington.
A caller said a vehicle drove into a ditch behind Fred Meyer, 365 Renton Center Way SW.
I arrived at approximately 1254 hours.
UNIT 1:TOYOTA COROLLA
Upon arrival I observed a silver Toyota Corolla (WA/BSE1177) in the ditch in the 300 block of Hardie
Avenue SW along the west side of the road facing southwest.
Unit 1's front bumper was damaged from the collision. Unit 1 had to be winched out of the ditch by a tow
truck.
DRIVER 1:SINGH, LALITA K.
I spoke with Lalita K.Singh (DOB: 09/23/1958),the driver of the Toyota. Lalita was not injured from the
collision. Lalita said she was driving west out of the north parking tot of Fred Meyer onto Hardie Avenue
SW, mistook the accelerator for the brake pedal, and drove through the parking lot, across Hardie
Avenue SW, and into a ditch.
PASSENGER:SINGH,SATEN
Saten Singh (DOB: 08/14/1955)was identified as the uninjured front passenger.
