NARRATIVE
25-5542
On 06/25/2025 at approximately 1803 hours, I responded to a hit and run report located at 585
Rainier Ave S in the City of Renton, County of King, and the State of Washington.
Upon arriving on scene, I was flagged down by the RP who introduced himself as GUZMAN
AGUIRRE, GABRIEL G (DOB 02-19-1990).
Guzman stated that he was driver of Unit 2, a 2024 Grand Jeep Cherokee bearing license plate
(CLZ2306) which had visible front-end damage to the Jeep marking and a scratch along the top front
bumper. This vehicle was a car dropped off to their business to service, which is why he was
operating the vehicle.
The registered owner of Unit 2 is PREDKI, MARGARET KRYSTINA (DOB 08-17-1968). Predki was
not present nor involved in the accident. Paperwork was provided to me showing the dealerships
possession of the vehicle for maintenance with Predkis information listed.
Guzman explained he was traveling southbound on Hardie Ave SW and nearing SW 5th PL. As he
began passing the intersection, which has no controls nor any indication to stop of yield, a car pulls
out in-front of him traveling eastbound. The vehicle accelerated and Guzman attempted to break
unsuccessfully. Impact to both vehicles occurred, and both pulled over into the Fred Myer backlot.
Post discussion Guzman advised both parties should relocate to 585 Rainier Ave S, to the business
lot. The second involved stated they would follow Guzman. Guzman did not see if the subject left the
area or followed him.
Unit 1 was a white U-Haul truck. Unknown license plate, unknown model, seemingly a cargo van from
the description provided by Guzman. There is currently no identity for the driver. He was described as
a black male with a swollen left hand.
I proceeded to check cameras in the area and spoke to Guzman about possible vehicles that were in
the area. Post discussion Guzman confirmed that none of the vehicles shown to him were correct.
The business stated they have their own policy to contact the registered owner due to them having
possession of the vehicle during the incident. They stated they would be in touch with PREDKI,
MARGARET KRYSTINA (DOB 08-17-1968).
As of right now, there is no suspect information.
My involvement in this case was captured on my department-issued Axon body camera. This report is
a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events. Statements have been
paraphrased and summarized. At the time of this call, I was in a full police uniform equipped with a
Renton Police badge and police patches.
This concludes my involvement with this case.
