On July 10th, 2025, at 1056 hours dispatch requested that I respond to a hit and run collision that
occurred on July 9th at Stonebrook Apartments, 12210 SE Petrovitsky Rd, in the city of Renton, county of
King, and state of Washington.
Upon contact, I spoke with the victim, identified by her WADL as Karla P. Hernandez-Gonzalez
(10/24/2002). Karla explained that her vehicle was stationary and unattended in parking lot when the
collision occurred.When she approached her vehicle, she observed damage to her front bumper and her
front license plate was sitting on the hood of her vehicle.
Karla owns a 2018 Chevrolet Impala bearing Washington plates BQW3226.
Today, Karla reviewed a video from a Ring camera that points out her window and faces her parked
vehicle.The other involved vehicle was described as a white Toyota 4Runner not bearing any license
plates.The video shows her vehicle parked in a stall. Later, a white Toyota 4Runner drives in front of it
and stops abruptly.The driver then exits their vehicle, checks for damage, and leaves without leaving any
personal information.
Karla said she checked the parking lot and was able to identify the involved Toyota 4Runner.The vehicle
had a white piece of paper that noted apartment"F201." Karla went to the apartment and contacted a
female.The female, later identified as Agata H. Mujica-Ferrer(07/10/1996), said she was the driver of the
Toyota 4Runner. She also admitted to being involved, but claimed there was no damage to her vehicle.
Agata told Karla that she was new to the United States and did not have insurance.
Karla told me she wanted to press charges against Agata because she initially failed to leave any
personal information.
After speakingwith Karla, I drove to the apartment complex.There, I located the Toyota 4Runner in front
of the F building. I also noticed the white piece of paper on the dash. I confirmed it noted "F201."
I knocked at the front door, and Agata answered.Agata asked if I was responding regarding the collision
that occurred yesterday. I said yes and requested that she provide me with the vehicles information,
insurance, and drivers license.Agata began to cry and stated she was new to the United States.She said
she recently moved to Washington at the end of 2024.Agata presented me with her identification card
but stated that she had not taken her drivers license exam.She also stated that her vehicle was

Agata told me that she had already spoken to Karla earlier but admitted to not leaving any personal
information on Karla's vehicle.Agata explained she was driving around the apartment complex on July 10
th.When she drove to her parking stall, she felt a jolt as she passed Karla's vehicle. She exited her
vehicle but did not see any damage so parked in her stall.Agata stated she did not know about leaving
personal information after a collision occurs.
I provided Karla and Agata with my contact information and case number.
I checked the Karla's vehicle and did not see any new body damage. I believe Agata's wheel struck
Karla's front bumper.
Based on the information above I believe there is probable cause to arrest Agata for hit and run. I issued
Agata sector citation 5AO600228 and submitted it to the Renton City Prosecutor for further review.
