ASSIGNMENT/ARRIVAL
On 7/11/2025 at approximately 1649 hours, I was dispatched to a two vehicle collision at the intersection
of Sunset Boulevard NE and northbound 1-405 on-ramp in the city of Renton, King County,Washington.
I arrived at approximately 1651 hours.
U NIT 1:TOYOTA CAM RY
1 located a silver Toyota Camry(WA/CLP7652, Unit 1)stopped in the gore point of the northbound 1-405
on-ramp. Unit 1 was moved from its point of rest prior to my arrival. Unit 1 had disabling collision damage
to the rear passenger tire.
UNIT 2:SATURN ION
I located a tan Saturn Ion (WA/CDV8103, Unit 2)stopped along the shoulder of southbound Sunset
Boulevard NE just west of the northbound 1-405 on-ramp. Unit 2 had minor collision damage to the front
passenger bumper(scrapes, scratches and dents). Unit 2 was moved from its point of rest prior to my
arrival.
DRIVER 1:AL YAKOOB,ABDULLAH
I contacted Abdullah Al Yakoob(DOB: 10/21/1996) near Unit 2.Al Yakoob was not injured in the collision.
I identified AL Yakoob by his valid Washington Driver License and established him as the driver of Unit 1
by his admission.
AL Yakoob said he was driving north on Sunset Boulevard NE and turned left to enter the northbound
1-405 on-ramp when Unit 2,which was driving south on Sunset Boulevard NE, struck Unit 1.
DRIVER 2:VELASCO MARTINEZ,CAROLINAA.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.

1 contacted Carolina A.Velasco Martinez(DOB: 07/04/1995) near Unit 2.Velasco Martinez was not
injured in the collision. I identified Velasco Martinez by her valid Washington Driver License and
established her as the driver of Unit 2 by her admission.
PROXIMATE CAUSE
1 determined the proximate cause of the collision from Al Yakoob's statements and damage to both
vehicles.
Al Yakoob's violation of RCW 46.61.305(1),which states:
No person shall turn a vehicle or move right or left upon a roadway unless and until such
movement can be made with reasonable safety nor without giving an appropriate signal in the
manner hereinafter provided.
CITATION
1 authored Al Yakoob a citation for a violation of RCW 46.61.305(1)(Citation#5A0629825) and filed it with
the Renton Municipal Court.
DISPOSITION
This concluded my involvement in this case.
