DOCUMENTS SCANNING 2023
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as June 30, 2025, is by and between
the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, andModus Technology,
Inc. (“Consultant”), a Washington corporation. The City and the Consultant are referred to
collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this
Amendmentis effective as of the last date signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-22-382,
dated December 12, 2022, to provide necessary services for the Utility Systems Documents
Scanning for Laserfiche 2023 (referred to herein as the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement Exhibit C to change the compensation
in order to lower the negotiated rates of several line items/tasks to reflect the cost savings
of the new pricing schedule and to add a new line item.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-22-382is amended as follows:
1. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended to reflect the new rates
established in attached Exhibit C-2. The compensation shall be paid based upon
Work actually performed according to the rate(s) or amounts specified in Exhibit C-
2, which is attached and incorporated herein.
2.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment
as if fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendmentas of the
date last signed by the Parties below.

EXHIBIT C-2 – COMPENSATION
The City will be charged the actual quantities of documents that are scanned based on
image size and indexing. The costs listed below are being updated to match the new
pricing per size for images, indexing, and other related costs. The indexing costs arebeing
updated from keystroke to hourly which will match how the charge appears on the invoice.
The rate of $0.015 per keystroke is equivalent to $29.95 per hour and the new rate will be
$23.95 per hour.
Exhibit C-2 only includes those items that are changed or additions to the original contract
Exhibit C – Compensation, the other charges remain the same.
