Case: 2025-5994
On 07-11-2025 at approximately 1423 hours, I was dispatched to a non-injury traffic collision in the 300 block
of Mill Ave S in the City of Renton, County of King, State of Washington. I arrived on scene at approximately
1426 hours.
I contacted the driver of Unit#1,Theresa A Scott who told me she was not familiar with the Renton area. She
was traveling northbound in the right lane on Main Ave S. She did not realize she could not continue straight
as she approached the intersection of S 3rd St and continued straight. I showed her on the map how the right
lane is a right turn only lane of travel.The front driver side fender on her vehicle hit the entire passenger side
of Unit#2 who made a right turn onto S 3rd St from Main Ave S.
I spoke with the driver of Unit#2, Kayla E Dineson who told me she was traveling northbound in the left lane
on Main Ave S. When she made the right turn onto S 3rd St which is allowed by law her vehicle was hit by Unit
#1.
