Greeting Jennifer:
On behalf of the 8th Juneteenth Celebration, I want to take this opportunity to thank you and the
amazing work of your staff for helping us on Saturday, June 28, 2025, to put together what I
believe turned out to be an amazing Juneteenth Celebration. All the encounters we had with the
city staff were just wonderful and amazing in their support for this event. Each deserves a special
thank you for their professionalism and the support provided. Everything we needed was spot
on!
Thank you for being there as you enable us to manage some aggressive"unwelcome" guest. You
manage those situations with grace. There was never a time we felt like we were a burden or that
what we were doing was not important.
I realize and know that there are always individuals in the background doing work that I may not
be aware of, which we are also grateful.
We are so appreciative of each of them and could not have done this without them. Please
convey our gratitude and thanks to each of them for a job well done.
Again, on behalf of the 2025 Juneteenth committee,thank you and your amazing staff for your
support of this important event to the Renton community.
