WATERLINE RELOCATION FOR REALIGNMENT
OF BENSON ROAD AND I-405 OVERPASS
SCOPE OF WORK
The work involved under the terms of this contract document shall be full and complete installation of
the facilities as shown on the plans and as described in the construction specifications, to include but
not be limited to:
Furnish and install approximately 1,900 linear feet of 16-inch diameter, Class 52 ductile iron pipe and
fittings with poly wrap, complete with all valves, fittings, and appurtenances including, but not limited
to, trenching, excavation import/export, shoring, dewatering, existing culvert crossing and other utility
crossings, backfill, 4 tie-ins to existing water mains, and all pavement, traffic loop, sidewalk, stripping,
and surface restoration. The work also includes storm water drainage modifications, removal and
replacement of asphalt concrete pavement, and a complete single lane width overlay in SR 515
(Talbot Road) and as shown on the plans. The work also includes all traffic control, erosion control,
sedimentation control, and the restoration of public and private lands. Certain portions of work must
comply with restricted work hours and traffic restrictions as indicated in the construction documents.
Any contractor connected with this project shall comply with all Federal, State, County, and City
codes and regulations applicable to such work and perform the work in accordance with the plans
and specifications of this contract document. A total of ninety (90) working days will be allowed for
the completion of this project.
