On July 21, 2025 at 1406 hours, dispatch requested that I contact a driver of a King County Metro Bus
regarding a hit and run collision that occurred at SW 43rd St and East Valley Rd, in the city of Renton, county of
King, and State of Washington. The reporting party, later identified by their WADL as Mary L. Lowrimore
(02/24/1960), reported that a white pickup truck struck her driver's side mirror.
Upon contact, Mary explained she was traveling eastbound on SW 43rd St from East Valley Rd. As Mary
approached the 1405 overpass on S 43rd St, she observed a white pickup truck serving into her lane. The truck
was towing a utility trailer and she believes the utility trailer struck her driver's side mirror, causing minor
damage to the mirror stand. The truck continued eastbound on SE Carr Rd, but it possibly turned onto Talbot
Rd S.
Mary was unable to described the driver, but mentioned that the King County Metro Bus possibly has operating
cameras. Mary was accompanied by her supervisors, who stated they would review the video footage and
contact me if evidence was captured. I provided Mary with my contact information and case number.
Mary's supervisor told me they would decide to pursue criminal charges later.
