NARRATIVE
On the morning of April 22, 2025, between approximately 7:00 AM and 7:40 AM, I was in the process of picking up a student
to drop them off at school. While waiting at a red light in the designated left-turn lane near the area of 301317 Edmonds Ave
NE, a green truck was turning into the lane next to mine.
While making the turn, the driver miscalculated the amount of space needed and struck the left side of my vehicle. The impact
tore off my left rearview mirror and caused scraping along the left side of the car. As the traffic light turned green, I was
unable to make a U-turn from my lane, so I proceeded to the nearest safe location to turn around. This took approximately 2
to 3 minutes.
When I returned to the scene, the green truck was no longer there. I searched the surrounding neighborhood in an attempt to
locate the vehicle, but was unsuccessful. The driver fled the scene within less than 5 minutes of the incident.
