On 07/25/2025 at 1637 hours I was on routine patrol in the 10600 block of Benson RD S, in the City of Renton,
King County, Washington. While on patrol, I observed a recent two vehicle motor vehicle accident in the
northbound lane of travel,just south of 106th Ave SE. This incident was captured on my body worn video
camera.This report is a summation of events that occurred and is not an exact sequence of events.
I identified Unit 1 as a gray 2017 Honda Civic (WA LIC#CFV4411) being driver by the registered owner of
the vehicle, identified by her WA DL as Tory L Fletcher(DOB 03/05/1996).
Unit 1 driver told me she was not injured. I asked Unit 1 driver what happened, she stated that as she was
traveling northbound on Benson RD S,vehicular traffic in front of her quickly slowed down. Upon viewing the
slowing traffic, Unit 1 driver said that she attempted to quickly slow but was unable to stop completely before
colliding with the rear bumper of Unit 2 vehicle.
I observed front end bumper damage to Unit 1 vehicle.
Unit 1 driver provided me with her WADL and proof of insurance.
I identified Unit 2 as a black 2010 BMW 335 (WA LIC#CNF6946) being driven by the son of the registered
owner, identified via his WA DL as Jhostin A Delgado-Casas (DOB 02/13/2008).
Unit 2 driver told me they were uninjured.As Unit 2 driver did not speak english, all communication was done
via Language Line. I asked Unit 2 driver what happened, he stated that as he slowed for vehicular traffic in
front of him while traveling northbound on Benson RD S, Unit 1 vehicle rear ended him from behind.
Unit 2 driver provided me with his registration and WADL. Unit 2 driver stated that he did not currently have
vehicle insurance.
I observed minor damage to back end of Unit 2 vehicle.
All observed damage to both Unit 1 and Unit 2 vehicles were consistent with the version of events provided by
