Upon arrival, I contacted the security officer Abdul Rahman Herawy (DOB 03-14-1974) identified by his WADL. Abdul stated that he witnessed a silver Subaru SUV with a partial plate of CLY???/WA drive into a tree that was in the parking lot. The tree was hit hard enough that it fell to the ground. Abdul described the driver as a black male, of medium build, standing 5'8 "to 5'10", with a full beard, wearing a black hat, a yellow shirt, and black pants. Abdul stated he would be able to identify the driver. Two other passengers exited the car and went into the store to shop. The driver left the parking lot on the north side, in an unknown direction. Tanner Martin was one of the passengers who exited the vehicle. She told me she did not know the driver, but he had told her his name was Roger Williams. She was at a bus stop, and he had offered to give the two females a ride. No Loss prevention officer was working who had access to the security cameras. I provided Abdule with my business card and case number. After checking the FLOCK camera's there were no matches to the described vehicle. This report is for information, as there is no plate number or identification of the driver. This incident was captured on my body worn camera.
