Southport Dr and Lake Washington Blvd N in the City of Renton, King County, Washington. The reporting party/victim of Unit 2 was Michael A. Peveto (DOB:07/09/1990). Michael was the driver, his wife: Samantha S. Peveto (DOB:08/12/1992) was in the front passenger's seat, Ronald Guthrie SR was in the rear driver's seat and Shirley Guthrie was in the rear passenger's seat. No injuries reported and all were wearing their seatbelts. Unit 2 was a 2024 Honda CRV (CPY3482/WA). Michael said he was stopped at the right turn lane onto Lake WA BLVD N from Southport at a red arrow, when he was rear ended by Unit 1 which was going less than 5mph per Michael. Michael observed a white female as the driver of Unit 1 and did not observe any acknowledgement from her. Michael said his wife Samantha looked back and observed the white female driver of Unit 1 as looking surprised. Michael turned on his hazard lights and pulled into the Hampton Inn's parking lot to speak with the driver of Unit 1/exchange information, but Unit 1 continued northbound on Lake WA BLVD N. When asked if Michael could identify the driver, he said possibly but not 100%sure. When asked if Michael wanted to press criminal charges for hit and run attended, he wanted to think about it but requested a case report for documentation. Michael did not observe any obvious damage to his vehicle. Michael took photos of his vehicle. I sent Michael an AXON link to upload the photos. This plate returned to a registered owner: Ashley B. Moskal (DOB:01/20/2001). Ashley was listed at a nearby address off Lake WA BLVD N: 1300 N. 20th St#M3046 in Renton. I arrived at Ashley's address and located Unit 1 parked just outside the "M" building under a carport. I observed multiple "Stanley" tumbler cups inside the vehicle. The vehicle hood was warm to the touch. I took photos of the vehicle and uploaded them to the case. No obvious signs of new damage were observed on the front end of Unit 1. Unit 1 did have a small dent on the hood, but it appeared to be old due to rust. I attempted contact at Unit 1's listed address, but there was no answer. Michael was provided the case number and stated he would have his vehicle checked out for any underlying damage. He will request a follow-up if he decides to pursue criminal charges.
