The victim and reporting party, Nancy C. Braganza (DOB: 02/15/1969,verified by Washington Department of Licensing photograph), said her vehicle, a blue 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser(WA/ CPS3663),was struck by another vehicle in the parking lot on 08/03/2025 according to a note Left by an anonymous witness. The note left a description of the vehicle, and Braganza believed it was parked in the visitor parking stalls in the complex. Braganza described the suspect vehicle as a white Ford Bronco with a spare tire on the back. I arrived at approximately 1037 hours. UNIT 1: FORD BRONCO Upon arrival I observed a white 1994 Ford Bronco (WA/CTB0501, Unit 1) parked unoccupied near the visitor center. Unit 1 was lifted with oversize off-road tires.There was an oversized off-road tire mounted on the back hatch as a spare. I did not see any obvious damage at the time. UNIT 2:TOYOTA LAND CRUISER I drove to contact Braganza at her apartment. Unit 2 was pulled nose-in to the stall facing west. I observed a dent on the rear-passenger side near the taillamp assembly. The damage appeared fresh, as the chipped paint was jagged, there were paint flakes on the ground, and material transfer that appeared to be from a tire. VICTIM CONTACT: BRAGANZA, NANCY C. I spoke with Braganza near Unit 2. Braganza told me she came out to her vehicle on 8/5/2025 and found the damage and a handwritten note on an envelope on her windshield. I read the note and it said: "White Ford Bronco-9:20 pm Sunday, August 3rd Impacted back right corner w/ spare tire on back. Sorry didn't get video". I was unable to determine who left the note. In the past, Braganza had seen a white Ford Bronco with a spare tired mounted to the rear parked in the parking stall across from hers. Braganza didn't know the owner or to which unit the Bronco belonged. Braganza saw the Bronco parked near the visitor center, which was unusual. This made her believe the Bronco was the same one reference in the note. Braganza did not want to pursue criminal charges but wanted the owner's insurance. This concluded my conversation with Braganza. ATTEMPTED REGISTERED OWNER CONTACT: FLETCHER,TERRY J. The Bronco was registered to Terry J. Fletcher(DOB: 04/03/1965)with an address in Cle Elum. I used a law enforcement database to find Fletcher's number. I called him but he did not answer. I left a voicemail message. I have yet to hear from Fletcher. I examined the spare tire mounted on the back hatch. I saw clear evidence of the spare tire striking an object in about the 3-o'clock position.There was dirt on the tire and a paint flake still sitting on the aggressive tread of the tire that matched Unit 2. 1 left a business card on the driver window. DISPOSITION I am unable to identify the driver of Unit 1, which did strike Unit 2. 1 have not heard from Unit 1's owner, Fletcher. Braganza, the victim, does not want to pursue criminal charges.
