The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 8/11/2025 at 1218 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision report at the Westview Village
Apartments located at 17735 105th PI SE.
I called the victim, identified as Chrisopher W. Kvartek (DOB: 01/28/1997), who stated that he
returned to his residence and parked his 2023 Honda Civic (WA LP: CGE9022) in his parking spot at
around 1800 hours on 08/10/2025. Kvartek stated that when he returned to his vehicle at around
0900 hours on 08/11/2025, he noticed that there was damage to the rear drivers' side bumper.
Kvartek mentioned that there was white paint transfer on his rear drivers' side bumper, which he
attributed to his neighbors vehicle that parks next to his spot. Kvartek stated that his neighbors
vehicle is somewhat beat up, and when he provided me a license plate it returned to a white 1991
Acura Legend (WA LP: CJN9888). The Acura is registered to Adam L. Acrey (DOB: 03/04/1988).
Kvartek stated that he did not witness the collision and is not aware of any cameras that would have
captured the collision. Because of this, there is no way to identify for certain a vehicle or suspect in
this case.
