The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 8/11/2025 at 1208 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision report at Valley Medical
Center (VMC) located at 400 SW 43rd St.
I called the victim, identified as Robert F. Price (DOB: 12/24/1965) and initially was unable to reach
him. He later returned my phone call and explained what happened. Price stated that he had parked
his 2012 Chevrolet Malibu (WA LP: ARP3923) on the bottom level of the parking garage at VMC.
While he was in his hospital room, a security guard came to inform him that he had seen a vehicle
strike his Malibu where it was parked in the parking garage. Price stated that the security guard
provided him with the license plate for the suspect vehicle, which returned to a 2008 Mercedez 500
series (WA LP: CBY4212).
The security guard did not provide Price with the video of the incident or a description of the suspect
involved.
I was able to locate a phone number for the owner of the Mercedez, who was identified as Anthony
D. Woods (DOB: 01/31/1960) per DOL. I called him and he stated that he thought that he had struck
a wall when inside of the parking garage that day at VMC. I was able to find his insurance information
and added that to the case report.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.
