Addendum 2 (August 14, 2025)
The City of Renton is providing this Addendum 2 as notice to proposers of the following updates
to the June 18, 2025 Renton RFP for Solid Waste Services. Addendum 1 was previously issued on
July 21, 2025. This Addendum 2 includes the following information:
• Responses to the second round of proposer questions.
• Revisions to the main RFP document and draft base contract to clarify the parties’
payment responsibilities and correct section numbering.
• Revisions to the draft base contract to clarify the parties’ payment responsibilities and
which customers may receive locking containers.
• Updates to the current services data to provide additional requested information.
This information is presented in the following Addendum 2 attachments:
A. RFP Addendum 2 – Attachment A. Proposer Q&A Round 2
B. RFP Addendum 2 – Attachment B. Revised RFP
C. RFP Addendum 2 – Attachment C. Revised Draft Base Contract
D. RFP Addendum 2 – Attachment D. Revised Current Services Data
In response to proposer questions, the city is providing the following additional information about
the current contractor’s operations, which has been attached for reference:
• 2023-2024 Garbage Disposal Invoices
• 2025 Contractor Invoices
• Contractor Fleet Inventory
• Single-family Collection Maps
• Strike Contingency Plan
Proposers shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum 2 on RFP Attachment B – Proposal
Non-price Forms – Form 4: Certification of Proposal and Declaration of Understanding.
