Case Number 25-7226
On 08/19/2025 at approximately 0546 hours, I was dispatched to Stevens Ave SW and S 134th ST within the
City of Renton, King County,Washington to a non-injury hit and run collision. Dispatch relayed over the radio
that five minutes ago a collision occurred at the location and that the caller identified as Charmi N. Robles
Quinones DOB (09/27/1991)was requesting aid.
On arrival Renton Fire was on scene and was medically evaluating the reporting party Charmi. Charmi was
standing next to his vehicle identified as a silver 2013 Acura MDX WA/LIC CPD0756 VIN#
2HNYD2H39DH511672. Renton Fire medically cleared Charmi who had slight pain on his chest due to his
airbag deploying and hitting him on his chest. Once they cleared, I asked Charmi what happened, and he said
the following: Charmi was driving to work and was traveling southbound on Stevens Ave SW approaching S
134th St.As Charmi drove pass the intersection of Stevens Ave SW and S 134th St he noticed unit 1 a blue
sedan traveling eastbound on S 134th ST. Unit 1 ignored the stop sign and collided with Charmi's vehicle
damaging the left side of his front bumper. Unit 1 sustained minor damage to the driver's side door and
continued to drive southbound on Stevens Ave SW without attempting to exchange information with Charmi.
Unit 1 then made a left turn and continued driving eastbound on SW Langston Rd until Charmi lost visual of it.
Charmi said he didn't see the driver and is unable to identify who was driving the blue sedan.
Charmi provided me with all the proper documentation and was given my business card with the case number.
As I was walking back to my patrol vehicle, I noticed a piece of a rear mirror on the ground near the collision
location and saw that it had the numbers VB26 A5627-521 on the inside of it. I ran the part number online and
it came back to multiple rear mirrors for Subarus. Based on the results I assumed unit 1 could possibly be a
blue Subaru sedan. I took pictures of Charmi's vehicle and of the blue rear mirror and submitted them into
evidence. I then disposed of the rear mirror and cleared the scene. If the driver of unit 1 is identified,there is
probable cause to arrest them for hit and run.
This concludes my involvement with this case.
