On 8/20/025 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for
the City of Renton. I was dispatched to an injury collision near the intersection of East Valley
Hwy and SE 180th St Renton/King/WA.The caller was reporting that there was a collision with
injury, RRFA was dispatched as well.
The caller then updated that the suspect vehicle and fled the scene towards the freeway.The
only description provided was a black Jeep.
RRFA arrived on scene and located the victim,they confirmed there was no injury and cleared.
I arrived on scene and located a gray 2017 Toyota Prius WA/CTZ2820 parked in a nearby parking
Lot.The driver was identified by his WADS as Sangram Singh DOB: 1/19/1988. He said that he
was in the#2 lane facing westbound on S 180th St stopped for traffic. He said that a black Jeep
rear-ended him and then fled the scene north on East Valley Hwy.
There was minor damage to the Prius, and it was drivable.
Sangram did not get a license plate and was only able to say it was a newer style Jeep. He said
that he would not be able to identify the suspect driver is located.
I provided Sangram with a case number and left the scene.
Nothing further.
