ESC STANDARD SECTION D.4.2.4 ON DISTURBED AREAS THAT REQUIRE COVER MEASURES FOR DISTURBANCE MUST BE STOCKPILED ON —SITE.
LESS THAN 30 DAYS OR HAS REACHED FINAL GRADE. AT COUNTY DISCRETION, SEEDING G. CONSTRUCTION ROAD AND PARKING LOT STABILIZATION ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL SITES
WITHOUT MULCH DURING THE DRY SEASON MAY BE ALLOWED. SEE COUNTY ESC STANDARD UNLESS THE SITE IS UNDERLAIN BY COARSE —GRAINED SOIL.

(14) PERIMETER PROTECTION TO FILTER SEDIMENT FROM SHEETWASH SHALL BE LOCATED
DOWNSLOPE OF ALL DISTURBED AREAS WHERE SHOWN ON THE PLAN. PERIMETER
PROTECTION SHALL BE INSTALLED PRIOR TO UPSLOPE GRADING. SILT FENCE SHALL BE USED
FOR PERIMETER PROTECTION, UNLESS OTHER MEASURES ARE APPROVED (E.G., 13RUSH
BARRIERS, VEGETATED STRIPS, ETC.), AND SHALL BE APPLIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH COUNTY
ESC STANDARD SECTION D.4.3.
(15) INLET PROTECTION SHALL BE USED ON ALL STORM DRAIN INLETS DOWNSLOPE AND WITHIN 150
METERS OF A DISTURBED AREA UNLESS THE SYSTEM DRAINS TO A SEDIMENT POND OR TRAP.
SEE COUNTY ESC STANDARD SECTION D.4.5.3 FOR INLET PROTECTION SPECIFICATIONS AND
CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS.
(16) PREVENTATIVE MEASURES TO MINIMIZE THE WIND TRANSPORT OF SOIL SHALL BE TAKE WHEN
A TRAFFIC HAZARD MAY BE CREATED OR WHEN SEDIMENT TRANSPORTED BY THE WIND IS
LIKELY TO BE DEPOSITED IN DRAINAGEWAYS OR WATER RESOURCES. WHEN USING WATER
FOR DUST CONTROL, SPRAY UNTIL SOIL IS WET BUT RUNOFF IS NOT INITIATED. CALCIUM
CHLORIDE MAY BE USED AND OIL SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED FOR DUST CONTROL.
(17) THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING ALL TESC MEASURES SUCH THAT NO
SAND —SIZED SEDIMENT (SOIL PARTICLES COARSER THAN THE #200 SIEVE, 0.075MM) LEAVES
THE SITE. A #200 SIEVE MUST BE KEPT ON —SITE UNTIL FINAL STABILIZATION HAS BEEN
APPROVED. THE COUNTY MAY REQUIRE MEASURES BEYOND THOSE DETAILED ON THE TESC
PLAN IF SUCH STANDARD MEASURES PROVE TO BE INADEQUATE OR A MORE STRINGENT
SEDIMENT REMOVAL CRITERIA IS DEEMED NECESSARY TO PROTECT ADJACENT PROPERTY,
DRAINAGE FACILITIES OR WATER RESOURCES. IF THE INTENT OF THE COUNTY ESC
STANDARDS IS BEING MET, THE COUNTY MAY ACCEPT A FLEXIBLE COMPLIANCE WITHOUT A
VARIANCE.
(18) ALL TESC MEASURES SHALL BE INSPECTED AND MAINTAINED ON A REGULAR BASIS AS
PRESCRIBED IN THE COUNTY ESC STANDARDS MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS SECTION FOR
EACH SMP AND OUTLINED IN THE COUNTY ESC STANDARD SECTION 0.5,3, OF THE SWM MANUAL.
A TESC SUPERVISOR SHALL BE DESIGNATED BY THE CONTRACTOR AND SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
MAINTENANCE AND REVIEW OF TESC AND FOR COMPLIANCE WITH ALL PERMIT CONDITIONS RELATING TO
TESC. THE TESC SUPERVISOR MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR RAPID RESPONSE TO ESC PROBLEMS.
THE NAME, ADDRESS, AND PHONE NUMBER OF THE TESC SUPERVISOR SHALL BE SUPPLIED TO
THE COUNTY PRIOR TO THE START OF CONSTRUCTION. A SIGN SHALL BE POSTED AT THE
168TH/116th AVE SE INTERSECTION IDENTIFYING THE TESC SUPERVISOR AND THEIR
PHONE NUMBER.
(19) AT A MINIMUM, THE SITE SHALL BE INSPECTED BY THE CONTRACTOR'S TESC SUPERVISOR EVERY 30
DAYS DURING THE DRY SEASON, EVERY 7 DAYS DURING THE WET SEASON, AND WITHIN 24 HOURS OF

(15) INLET PROTECTION SHALL BE USED ON ALL STORM DRAIN INLETS DOWNSLOPE AND WITHIN 150
METERS OF A DISTURBED AREA UNLESS THE SYSTEM DRAINS TO A SEDIMENT POND OR TRAP.

(16) PREVENTATIVE MEASURES TO MINIMIZE THE WIND TRANSPORT OF SOIL SHALL BE TAKE WHEN
A TRAFFIC HAZARD MAY BE CREATED OR WHEN SEDIMENT TRANSPORTED BY THE WIND IS
LIKELY TO BE DEPOSITED IN DRAINAGEWAYS OR WATER RESOURCES. WHEN USING WATER
FOR DUST CONTROL, SPRAY UNTIL SOIL IS WET BUT RUNOFF IS NOT INITIATED. CALCIUM
CHLORIDE MAY BE USED AND OIL SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED FOR DUST CONTROL.
(17) THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING ALL TESC MEASURES SUCH THAT NO
SAND —SIZED SEDIMENT (SOIL PARTICLES COARSER THAN THE #200 SIEVE, 0.075MM) LEAVES
THE SITE. A #200 SIEVE MUST BE KEPT ON —SITE UNTIL FINAL STABILIZATION HAS BEEN
APPROVED. THE COUNTY MAY REQUIRE MEASURES BEYOND THOSE DETAILED ON THE TESC
PLAN IF SUCH STANDARD MEASURES PROVE TO BE INADEQUATE OR A MORE STRINGENT
SEDIMENT REMOVAL CRITERIA IS DEEMED NECESSARY TO PROTECT ADJACENT PROPERTY,
DRAINAGE FACILITIES OR WATER RESOURCES. IF THE INTENT OF THE COUNTY ESC
STANDARDS IS BEING MET, THE COUNTY MAY ACCEPT A FLEXIBLE COMPLIANCE WITHOUT A
VARIANCE.
(18) ALL TESC MEASURES SHALL BE INSPECTED AND MAINTAINED ON A REGULAR BASIS AS
PRESCRIBED IN THE COUNTY ESC STANDARDS MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS SECTION FOR
EACH SMP AND OUTLINED IN THE COUNTY ESC STANDARD SECTION 0.5,3, OF THE SWM MANUAL.
A TESC SUPERVISOR SHALL BE DESIGNATED BY THE CONTRACTOR AND SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
MAINTENANCE AND REVIEW OF TESC AND FOR COMPLIANCE WITH ALL PERMIT CONDITIONS RELATING TO
TESC. THE TESC SUPERVISOR MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR RAPID RESPONSE TO ESC PROBLEMS.
THE NAME, ADDRESS, AND PHONE NUMBER OF THE TESC SUPERVISOR SHALL BE SUPPLIED TO
THE COUNTY PRIOR TO THE START OF CONSTRUCTION. A SIGN SHALL BE POSTED AT THE
168TH/116th AVE SE INTERSECTION IDENTIFYING THE TESC SUPERVISOR AND THEIR
PHONE NUMBER.
(19) AT A MINIMUM, THE SITE SHALL BE INSPECTED BY THE CONTRACTOR'S TESC SUPERVISOR EVERY 30
DAYS DURING THE DRY SEASON, EVERY 7 DAYS DURING THE WET SEASON, AND WITHIN 24 HOURS OF
SIGNIFICANT STORMS (] 1.3 CM OF RAINFALL WITHIN 24—HOURS). A WRITTEN RECORD OF THESE
