On 08-25-2025 at approximately 0838 hours, I was dispatched to a non injury vehicle collision involving a City of
Renton vehicle at 907 Jericho PI NE, in the City of Renton, County of King.
I arrived and spoke with the Yamonti A. Diaz 04-07-1982, who is a City of Renton Employee and the driver of
Unit 1. Yamonti told me he was driving vehicle license 56487D and was towing trailer license 48336D,
southbound in the 900 block of Jericho PL NE. He stopped and started to back up and the trailer pivoted at an
angle on the passenger side rear. When this occurred the corner of the trailer hit a parked unoccupied Porsche
Macan license BAL5210. The trailer had no damage. There was minor damage to the driver side rocker panel
of Unit 2.
1 completed a records check of vehicle license on Unit 2 and the owner lived at 907 Jericho PL NE. I rang the
doorbell but there was no answer. As I was leaving a business card on Unit 2 the owner who was verbally
identified as Edwin A. Sanchez 09-13-1996 came outside and told me the Porsche belonged to his father but
Sanchez was currently driving it. The record check had Edwin as one of the owners. I explained what
happened and gave him a business card with the case number on it.
No citations were issued. The damage was minor and not reportable.
This was captured on my Axon body warn camera.
