CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 01
BETWEEN THE
PUGET SOUND REGIONAL FIRE AUTHORITY
AND
This Amendment (“Amendment”) is entered into by and between the Puget Sound Regional
Fire Authority, a Washington municipal corporation, (“Provider”) and , (“the
User”), collectively referred to as the “Parties.”
RECITALS
1.The Parties entered into an Interlocal Agreement for Regional FDCares Project Contract effective
February 18, 2024 (the “Contract”).
2.This Amendment reflects the 2026 cost adjustments to the FDCares services, as outlined in Exhibit
A of the Contract. These changes shall be implemented in accordance with Section 2, titled,
“Payment for Services.”
AGREEMENT
In consideration of the mutual benefits and promises contained herein, the parties agree to the following
Amendment to the Contract.
1. Annual Adjustment Amendment The Parties agree that any Party wishing to renegotiate the
payment provisions shall provide written notice of its intent no later than September 1, for the
adjustment to be effective the following January.
2. Payment for Services Amendment – FD Cares The Parties agree that the FDCares cost of service
charged to the User shall be adjusted from the 2025 amount of One hundred eighty-nine thousand,
four hundred fifty-nine dollars ($189,459.00) to One hundred ninety-four thousand, five hundred
seventy-four dollars ($194,574.00) for the 2026 fiscal year. This adjustment reflects the application
of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) cost adjustment.
Except as expressly modified by this Amendment, all provisions of the Contract remain unchanged and
in full force and effect.
