Renton Case#25-7279
Unless otherwise noted,the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King, WA.
On 08-20-2025 at approximately 0147 hours I was dispatched to the intersection of 116th Ave SE/SE 184th St
for a reported hit and run accident,the incident was between a vehicle and pedestrian. While enroute I was
advised that Renton Fire Department was enroute to the scene to assess the pedestrian victim for injuries.
I arrived on scene at 1902 hours and contacted the victim,who identified himself by WA DOL as Muad M.
Mohamed (DOB 09-08-2001). Muad complained of back and leg pain, stating the mirror of the vehicle
traveling southbound on 116th Ave SE hit him in the back as he was walking southbound on 116th Ave SE on
the shoulder of the roadway. Muad had collected the mirror to the vehicle as it had broken off the vehicle
when it hit him. I dusted the mirror for fingerprints and entered them into evidence under Renton Case
#25-7279.
Muad was only able to describe the vehicle has a black sedan. He did not get any partial plate information or
make/model of the vehicle.
Muad completed a medical release form as he will be going to the doctor tomorrow to have his possible
injuries assessed.
If a suspect is identified there is probable cause to arrest them for Hit and Run (RCW 46.52.020) due to them
striking Muad M. Mohamed (DOB 09-08-2001)with their vehicle, and failing to remain at the scene to provide
their information to Muad or law enforcement.
There are multiple homes facing the roadway of 116th Ave SE near the intersection where the incident took
place. Follow up may be done by contacted neighboring properties for possible vehicle information.
This concludes my involvement in Case#25-7279.
