NARRATIVE
At approximately 4:53pm on August 26th, I was stopped at a stop light on NE 3RD ST and Sunset Blvd N. The car in front of
me went through a red light that had been remaining red due to police involvement in an accident across the street. I moved
forward but stopped when I saw the light was red. When I stopped, the black car behind me bashed into the rear of my car.
I got out of the car. The black male, approximately 30 years old stated, "I am sorry". I bent over to pick up part of his bumper
that had come off from the collision and told him to pull over to the strip center to exchange insurance info. He backed up and
drove in but kept driving through the parking lot and onto Sunset Blvd N going south bound. I tried to follow him, but he was
quickly out of sight. The rear bumper and frame of my car is damaged, but the car is drivable. The intersection was chaotic
due to a railroad car blocking the road in front of Houser way and NE 3RD ST.
