On 08/03/2025 at about 0007 hours, I was working a marked patrol unit in the City of Renton, County of King,
State of Washington,when 1 was dispatched to a recent Hit& Run Collision report by phone which occurred at
Classics Sports Bar, located at 2431 Maple Valley Hwy(Renton, King, WA).
I contacted the reporting party and victim by phone who identified as Terry L.Terrell (DOB 08/14/1983).Terry
explained within the past hour, and unknown subject had struck his vehicle in the parking lot,which had been
un-occupied.Terry described his vehicle as a black 2009 Audi R8 lic#WA/BPP8875 and stated there was
significant front end damage.
Terry explained he did not observe the incident, but explained employees and patrons at the bar may have,
and that there might be surveillance footage of the incident.
I arrived at Classics and contacted the bartender who was able to review footage of the parking lot. Around
2315 hours, surveillance footage shows Terry and a female arrive at the location and walk into in the business.
The R8 is "backed in"to a stall on the northwest portion of the lot, with the front end facing southbound.
Around the same time,footage shows a male and female exiting the bar and walking towards the same
parking lot area.The male and female are seen then entering a white Tesla, unknown model, or plate. It is
unclear who is driving, but based on the footage, it is reasonable to suggest both got into this vehicle, and the
male entered on the driver's side.
The front end of the Tesla is also facing southbound and proceeds to go in reverse until the rear of the Tesla
strikes the front of the R8, pushing it back multiple feet.The Tesla then proceeds to exit the parking lot
without stopping or notifying anyone.
All of the surveillance video I reviewed was captured on my body worn camera. According to the bartender,
the same male associated with the Tesla was only identified by his card receipt as "Dante Thomas".
So far, I have exhausted all efforts in trying to positively identify Dante and forward charges for Hit& Run
Un-attended.There is probable cause to charge him with the above crime, once and if he can be adequately
identified.
During this incident I was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video. Portions of
the incident were recorded.This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not intended to be an
