Door(s) Rear Collision 2025-00007558 Paqe 3 OF 5 Case Number 2025-00007558 Officer Narrative Narrative On 08/29/2025 at approximately 1645 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision at Chase Bank, located at 150 Logan Ave S,within the city limits of Renton, King County,WA. Dispatch advised the reporting party was stating that one minute prior a vehicle collided with her vehicle and then fled westbound toward the high school. The reporting party had already left the scene so I contacted her by phone. The reporting party verbally identified herself to me as MARISOL G.AVILA SAMANO (DOB 06/15/2001). AVILA SAMANO told me that she was walking out of the bank to her car parked in the parking lot when she observed a white Chevrolet pickup truck parked next to her vehicle pulling out of it's parking spot and collide with her vehicle. She told me the front right tire of the suspect vehicle collided with the left rear panel of her vehicle. She advised the suspect vehicle was a white colored Chevrolet pickup truck,WA license plate D91154B.WA DOL showed this vehicle was a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche, registered to WILLIAM R. PAUL(DOB 07/02/1948) of Lakewood,WA.AVILA SAMANO advised me her vehicle was a white colored Honda Civic,WA license plate W7161 B. WA DOL showed her vehicle as a 2017 Honda Civic, registered to AVILA SAMANO of Renton, WA. AVILA SAMANO stated the driver of the Chevrolet Avalanche exited his vehicle to talk to her after the collision occurred. He told her he did not have a driver's license and then started talking with a female he appeared to be associated with.This female was in a red colored Honda Accord, WA license plate CKW3744, registered to Tamara Martinez of Renton,WA.A short time later, the male suspect got back into the Chevrolet Avalanche, and he and the female in the red Honda Accord both drove out of the parking lot and fled westbound on S 2nd St. AVILA SAMANO told me that the suspect did not provide her with his insurance information, his name, or any other contact information before he fled the scene. AVILA SAMANO advised me she took a photo of the suspect and his vehicle as he exited his pickup truck.AVILA SAMANO provided me with this photo,which I later uploaded to Evidence.com.The suspect appeared to be a white male in his 50s, medium height, medium build,with light brown or gray facial hair,wearing a black baseball hat and a white t-shirt.AVILA SAMANO stated she would recognize the suspect if she saw him again and advised she wanted to pursue charges for hit and run. I provided AVILA SAMANO with the case number and then ended my contact with her. I attempted to locate a contact number for PAUL, but I was unable to locate a phone number for him. I attempted to get parking lot video surveillance from Chase Bank, but the bank was already closed.
