Dear Sascha Eastman:
This correspondence provides information relating to the Filterra System sequence number 10 in the above referenced
project. Due to existing site conditions, the outlet pipe does not connect with the current Filterra elevations. To adjust,
the proposed solution is to raise the outlet on the Filterra unit 4”, leaving 4” of standing water within the Filterra unit.
Raising the outlet pipe up 4” will not affect the flow of water through the Filterra media as the standing water elevation
is below the media layer, within the underdrain stone. The Filterra media’s ability to meet water quality standards will
not be affected by raising the outlet elevation.
