comment will be limited to three minutes each unless an exception is granted by the Commission.
Attendees will be muted and not audible to the Commission except during times they are designated
to speak.

DCAO Rowland shared regrets on behalf of the Mayor who was unable to attend.
AUDIENCE COMMENT

Tristan Kochen shared that he was happy to be attending the Equity Commission
meeting.

COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS
Commissioner Imaoka thanked Hannah for providing black and white double-sided
copies for the commission.
Commissioner Baddeley shared that her daughter is graduating from high school and
she has enjoyed seeing her daughter and friends out enjoying Renton's parks. She
also shared some concerns about extra car traffic and safety in neighborhoods near
beaches during the summer. Commissioner Baddeley also shared that she recently
had to evacuate her home due to a gas leak nearby and wanted to share that the first
responders were great in the process. She urged everyone to enjoy the warmer
weather and be safe.
COMMITTEE CHAIR COMMENTS
Chair Cohen shared that she was impressed with the photos from the Pride Flag
Raising, and will try to attend the Juneteenth Flag Raising.
