On 08/31/2025 at 1103 hours I was flagged down in the parking lot of 1102 Bronson Way N, in the City of
Renton, King County, Washington. I was flagged down regarding a recent non-injury motor vehicle collision.
This incident was captured on my body worn video camera.This report is a summation of events that
occurred and is not an exact sequence of events.
I identified Unit 1 as a black 2017 Toyota Tacoma (WA LIC#C45167S) being driven by the registered
owner of the vehicle, identified by her WA DL as Joanne M Young(DOB 02/27/1954).
Unit 1 driver stated that she had been parked in the parking lot of Walgreens, located at 4105 NE 4th ST. Unit
1 driver said that when she went to back up and exit the parking stall, Unit 2 vehicle drove through the parking
lot behind her, causing a minor collision.
In observing Unit 1 vehicle, no damage was observed to the rear of the vehicle however I observed what
appeared to be fresh scrapes/damage on the front right bumper.
Unit 1 driver provided me with her WADL, registration and stated she did have vehicle insurance, however she
did not have the information to provide me.
I identified Unit 2 as a black 2025 Honda Civic (WA LIC#CTL2462) being driven by Unit 2 driver, identified by
her WA DL as Keli-Anne K Pounall (DOB 06/18/1993).
In speaking with Unit 2 driver, she stated that the collision did not occur in the Walgreens parking lot, rather it
happened when both vehicles were turning southbound on Sunset BLVD N from NE 3rd ST. Unit 2 driver said
that as both Unit 1 and Unit 2 vehicles proceeded through the intersection,turning south onto Sunset BLVD N,
Unit 1 vehicle merged from the number 2 lane of travel, into her established lane of travel (Lane number 3).
Unit 2 driver said that because of Unit 1 merging into her lane,the front end of Unit 1 vehicle collided with the
driver side of Unit 2 vehicle.
I observed minor damage/scrapes to the driver side of Unit 2 vehicle.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.

Unit 2 driver provided me with her WADS, registration and proof of insurance.
With Unit 2 driver providing me with a different version of events, I then recontacted Unit 1 driver and
inquired further about where she believed the accident took place. Unit 1 driver again stated that the accident
took place in the Walgreens parking lot however this time, she stated that she was backed into her parking
stall, and Unit 2 vehicle was parked along side her. Unit 1 driver said that when Unit 2 vehicle attempted to
leave her parking spot,from next to Unit 1 vehicle, she hit the front of Unit 1 vehicle.
I took photographs of both vehicles at the scene along with the sustained vehicle damage to each unit. All
photos were later uploaded to Axon Evidence.
As I was not witness to the accident, it is not certain where the collision occured however the damage
observed is consistent with the version of events as provided by Unit 2 driver.
I provided each involved unit with a business card, case number and answered their remaining questions.
I then cleared the scene.
This ends my report.
