The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 9/2/2025 at 1250 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run report that occurred near the
intersection of S 5th St and Williams Ave S.
The victim, identified as Victoria B. Zavala (DOB: 05/25/2003), stated that she had parked her 2003
Infinity G35 (WA LP: CMS0373) on S 5th St just West of Williams Ave S on the South side of the street
on 08/31/2025 at an unknown time.
Zavala stated that she returned to her vehicle at around 0415 hours on 09/02/2025 and noticed that
there was damage to the front drivers side bumper that was not there prior to her parking at that
location on the 31st.
I provided Zavala with an evidence.com link to upload photos of the damage.
At this time there are no suspects in this case.
Zavala did state that there was a video camera facing her location on the South side of the Liberty
Square Apartments that may have footage.
