RESOLUTION NO. 4567
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A WORK
PLAN TO REVISE THE TRANSPORTATION ELEMENT OF THE CITY'S 2025
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING AS LAID OUT IN THE
WORK PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Council has adopted and filed a Comprehensive Plan pursuant to Chapter
36.70A of the Revised Code of Washington; and
WHEREAS, the Council has implemented and amended and revised the Comprehensive
Plan from time to time, together with the adoption of various codes, reports and records; and
WHEREAS, on December 9, 2024, the City adopted the 2025 updates to its
Comprehensive Plan ("2025 Comprehensive Plan"); and
WHEREAS, on June 24, 2025, the Puget Sound Regional Council certified the 2025
Comprehensive Plan conditioned on the adoption of a work plan to complete the Transportation
Element; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Element of the Comprehensive Plan requires a public
hearing prior to adoption.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The above findings and recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II. The Transportation Element Work Plan, attached as Exhibit A and
incorporated by this referenced, is hereby adopted in whole.

SECTION III. That the 17th day of September 2025, at 6:00 pm is hereby fixed as the date
and time for a public hearing before the Planning Commission to consider revisions to the
Transporation Element of the 2025 Comprehensive Plan.
