NOTICE OF APPLICATION AND PROPOSED DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE (DNS)
A Master Application has been filed and accepted with the Department of Community & Economic Development (CED) – Planning Division of the City of Renton. The following briefly describes
the application and the necessary Public Approvals.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant is requesting Environmental (SEPA) Review for the removal of three (3) existing buildings at the Renton Municipal
Airport (APN 0723059007) leaving the foundations of each building for future use. The buildings proposed for removal are 295 E Perimeter Rd, 330 Airport Way, and 350 Airport Way, which
total 29,371 square feet. This project site is located within the Medium Industrial (IM) zone. A high seismic hazard area, high erosion hazard area, regulated slopes, Special Flood Hazard
Area, and Downtown Wellhead Protection Area Zones 1 and 2 are mapped on the parcel. A high seismic hazard area and Wellhead Protection Area Zone 2 are mapped at the project site. The
parcel also has a Shoreline High Intensity designation for Lake Washington Reach J and Cedar River Reach A. No vegetation is proposed for removal and all work would occur outside of
the regulated shoreline. An environmental checklist was submitted as part of the application.

OPTIONAL DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE (DNS): As the Lead Agency, the City of Renton has determined that significant environmental impacts are unlikely to result from the proposed
project. Therefore, as permitted under the RCW 43.21C.110, the City of Renton is using the Optional DNS process to give notice that a DNS is likely to be issued. Comment periods for
the project and the proposed DNS are integrated into a single comment period. There will be no comment period following the issuance of the Threshold Determination of Non-Significance
(DNS). This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal. A 14-day appeal period will follow the issuance of the DNS.
