This certification is based on vault as-built elevation and geometric data provided by Informed Land Surveying as compared to the data provided on the “Stormwater Vault Details and Notes” (Sheet 7) of the approved construction plans and as revised to the asbuilt conditions with an updated control structure. The vault as-built has internal dimensions of 68’ x 42.34’ and has 9.08’ of live storage. As built information indicates that the vault as constructed meets or exceeds the design detention volume and geometric requirements except that the outlet pipe was installed 0.19’ higher than designed, reducing the live storage capacity. The control structure was redesigned to provide level 2 flow control within the existing vault with a minor exception that allowed the control structure to extend 1” into the standard freeboard. The attached manufacturer’s cut sheet was compared to the information in the asbuilt drawings for consistency. This ensures that the vault functions as designed, meeting the flow control requirements. I am hopeful that the above discussion sufficiently addresses the certification of the vault as constructed for the Skattum Renton Plat II.
