Dear Mr. Burns:
We have reviewed the additional submittal data on the Earlington
Flsmentary School Sanitary SNwer and find no air pressure test of the
sever lines.
We are required by xetro to submit the pressure test results to
them on completion and acceptance of a sever line and prior to admit-
ting savage to t..e never system connoted to Metro.
Should the pressure test results e,,,.. be available, we would deem
it necessary to ra-run the pressure tee prior to the City's acceptance
of the sewer line.
Our acceptance of completion several months back contained pro-
visions that the pressure tests had not bee„ received and would still
he required prior to final acceptance of the sewer.
Thank you for your assistance.

Dear Mrs "Asper:
We have received your letter of Marcy 7, 1970 regarding the property
damage you indicate had occurred c.tt.ring the construction of the Earlington
School sewer li:.e and the liftstataon alcng Langston Road. We have iv ferft d
your letter to Mr. Bc . Burns at the firm of Johnston-Campanella as they
administered the contract for construction of that sewer line.
The problem had beer, phoned in to me after the contractors had been
released from the project by the Consulting firm and the School District.
At that time I advised the party calling to submit complaint in writing so
the information could be referred to the proper agencies involved and
responsi:)Ie.
We will advise you of any action regarding Job ..;ton-Campanella respond-
ing to our request for investigation and report.
The City does not assume liability for the problems incurred durinc
construction of this sewer line as it is a developer extension in the couity
area outside the City limits by the School District with private contracts to
the construction companies supervised and administered by Johnston-Campanella.
therefore any potential claims for legal action should not be directed at the
City of Benton.
Yours very truly,

Dear Mr. burns:
We have received oral and written complaint on damage to private
property during construction of the Earlington School sewer line and
liftstation along Langston Road.
A cop,•r of the complaint letter is attached which involves the
property of Mrs. Mary Gasper at 8026 South 134th, Seattle, Washington.
As this work was performed by contract for the Renton School District
under your company's supervision, we request you investigate the matter
and report to us any action taken to resolve the complaint.
Thu property in question is outside of the Renton City limits in the
County and the City will not assume responsibility for the sewer line until
it is owned by the City of Renton. We understand the Bill of Sale and Late-
Comer's Agreements have not been finalized by, the City.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Dear Sir:
During the construction of the Earlington Schobl, a serer line was laid
along Langston Road. :n the process of laying this line, f.evere damage to
any private property occUred.
To be specific, lawn was torn up, shrubs and flowers uprooted and drain—
age from your pump station washed away parts of the driveway and vegetable j
garden. Since then drainage has continued to seep into what is left of I(1
I
the driveway, making it completely unuseable.
This matter was brought to your attention some time ago, and I recieved
no word of any cype of an adjustment to solve this problem.
Unless immediate action is taken and 1 recieve som word from your
f
f department, I will be forced to take the necessary legal action which will
i
ltr get this situation taken care of, as it is a great, hinderance to me.
I Sincerel-
