PROPOSED PROJECT This should be a summary of the project as set forth in the Consulting Engi- neer's Report. Item II. Project Description: Censtruction of a new sanitary sewer system and appurtant construction within the Kennydale Island area (L. I. D. #263). Certification: The project described above is in compliance with the policies, programs and plans of the Puget Sound Governmental Conference for the development of the four-county Central Puget Sound region. Comments and Recommendation: The applicant has coordinated properly the proposed project with the county planning agency and with the Municipality- of Metropolitan Seattle which is the. responsible agency for comprehensive sewerage planning in the Lake Washington Drainage Basin. Under the premise of supporting comments by the State Health Department and the Water Pollution Control Com- mission with respect to these a6ancies' requirements and sanitary engineering standards, it is recommended that public aid be granted to the C,ty of Renton for the con- struction of the Kennydal Island sanitary sewer system.
