I f PUGET SOUND POWER & LIGHT COMPANY February 16, 1972 Mr. Jack Wilson Director of Fngineering Engineering Dept. City Hall Renton, Wash. 98055 ' Attention: Mr. Bert Me Henry Utility Engineer Dear Sir: In recent months representatives of Puget Sound Power and Light have had several conversations with Mr. Dick Houghton, Renton City Engineering Department, in regards to changing the method of transferring sewage currently used at Puget's facility at 620 So. Grady Way. The present system in use entails pumping sewage from a lift station. With the advent of METRO in this area, we feel it would be feasible to change this system to a gravity flow system. Mr. Houghton has indicated a change of this system is now possible. Puget Power has allowed for this change over in its 1972 Budget. However, to carry this project through, we would like to request the assistance of your office in providing plans and periodic inspections for this job. It is our hope you will give consideration to approval of this request and so inform us as soon as possible that we may let bids to get our project underway in the near future. Very truly yours '.
