and has been 'installed, operated, and maintained all in accordance with the written

of charge a replacement for such defective part. Defective pasts must be returned by the
owner to SMITH & LOVLLLSS, if so requested.
When covered by the above guarantee. SMITH a LOVELESS will provide, without cost
to the owner, such labor as may be required to replace. repair or modify the fulloy;rg,
but no other, major components. the steel structure. principal pumps, pump o,,. -,,

Subject: HI-Gate Sanitary Sewers
Dear Mr, Struthers:
As you are aware sanitary sewers are not readily available to your
H'-Gate subdivision. To provide service to Your property you proposed
to collect the sewage and pump it to an existing system which is In
another basin. This is permissable as long as provisions are made to
connect your system to the yravity system when installed. Also, the
cost of the trunk lines for the gravity system will have to be borne
by ail the property receiving benefit including yourself which is the
main point of this letter. As a property owner in the May Creek basin
you will be reguirvd to participate in the cost of the may Creek trunk
line and the Kennydale Interceptor. The May Creek trunk line which will
serve the entire May Creek basin has been estimated to Lost one lion
dollars and Serve an area of 2636 acres for a per g.tt. charge of
SO.0087/sg.ft. The Kennydale Interceptor which serves your particular
sub-basin has been estimated to cost 5300,000.00 and serves an area of
240 acres for a per sg.fl. charge of $0.0287/sg.fc. Aporoxi,-ately 40%
Of this cost will be recovered from properties receiving direct benefit
from the individual lines.
Ycir cost in connection with the HI-Gate Subdivision for sew_r service
will therefore be:
I. $0.01/sg.ft, for system development charges
2. $0.0087/sg.ft. for the May Creek Trunk line
3. $0.0163/sg.ft. for W of the Kennydale Interceptor
for a total of SO.03$/sg.fl, or $14,941.08, Once the temporary lift
station has been installed and tested the City will accept It for rainten-
ance relieving the developer of an intenance and operation costs.
