As part of the construction of the Abitare apartments in 1980, a sanitary sewer main was
installed. This main has never been turned over to the City with the proper paperwork and,
therefore, is still yours to maintain.
It appears, originally, the intention of the developer was to turn over to the City approximateq
527 lineal feet of sanitary sewer, turning east from Benson Road, along with four manholes. If
you would still like to turn this line over to us, the following are the steps that must be taken:
A) Completion of a Bill of Sale by the owner tarning the line over to the City.
vil At. 1, -built Drawing, prep red aid Itan.o, I by a Professional Land Survevor, tieing the
sewer line to the existing stationing from I . ;on and Puget. The As-Bail; should include
a plan, profile, horizontal co„tiul and vertical control (inverts & rims). The drawings
should also show the easement and any topography along the sewer that may be important
to someone who is going to have to go out and work on the line.
C) A Cost Data Inventory Sheet listing Pte component parts of the sewer and the cost of
installation for those parts.
D) Copies of the easement allowing this line to cross the property to the west of the
apt:tments.
