Dear Mr. Rullberg:
AP of this time we ha a completed all items addressed to u; on your
pu.A lists. The irck..vg lid on the lift station has bean replaced
with a new one. upon examination of the lid by the manufacturer, it
Was found the: no flaws in the casting,were evident. To prevent any
further difficulties with this lid, we recommend you take more care
when removing it from its frame.
The total price of the telemetering equipment, minus cabinet, delivered
to you will be $20900.00.
Also, at this time we request an extension of contract time due to the
Inability of our supplier to prrvide us with the telemetering equipment
that you requested.
Also enclosed are the tickets for Class B. Asphalt, used = the Honeydew
Lift Station patch on September le, 1982.

Dear Mr. Ford
I have been directed to not proceed with adding the large
telemetry cabinet to this project by Change Order. Dick
I''o,uihton, the Director of Public Works, has decided not to
purchase the telemetry master cabinet on this project.
So, without the Change Order, we will proceed toward comple-
t1un of the project and simply delete the large headquarters I
telemetry cabinet from thi job and you will then just have
to provide the pump station remote telemetry and the head-
quarters telemetry gear without a metal cabinet box.

Dick, as we discussed, I would like to purchase a 16 Pump Station - pre-
wired telemetry cabinet on the Honeydew Lift SI'ation reconstruction con-
tract under way by Ford Construction.
This cabinet, costing $11,525 from Stead B Baggerly, the manufacturer, would
provide us with a master cabinet for future telemetry expansion. As you
directed, I investigated and negotiated a price to do this work by Change
Order, and Ford Construction indicated that they wanted an additional $1,000
as their expense.
Since you indicated that this was tao expensive, I discussed with Ted Bennett
the possibility of purchase of the master telemetry cabinet by Purchase Order.
Ted indicated that our Water Utility can purchase up to $15,000 without bids
for water system improvements.
In accordance with your instructions, I would like your approval to purchase
the Master Telemetry Panel via purchase order from Stead S Baggerly. I would
Cher. delete the small single master telemetry panel on the Ford contract.
I would appreciate a quick response.
